A Few Ideas
A Few Tips
If you have a drill press, a vise and some hand tools you can produce
some interesting hardware parts. Lots of things that are laying around can be used
for forms to bend the 1/4" round stock. When tapping your screw holes always make
short "strokes" and back off to clear the threads. Take your time.
Fine grit sanding discs (320+) will clean the rough edges.
Before spray painting the pieces, always soak them in a degreaser.
Once they are degreased, do not touch them with your bare hands before painting.
Apply several light coats, from different angles.
